Hi, I’m Carlos Rubio, and I never thought I’d be a painter. I was born in Tijuana, and during family vacations, I’d help my relatives with their painting business — but honestly, I didn’t enjoy it. After spending two years working with my family, I decided to explore other options. I earned a bachelor’s degree in network engineering, but the pay wasn’t great. So, I returned to my family’s painting company, this time with more experience, and began managing people.
In 2017, I took a leap of faith and started my own painting business. Things really took off in 2020, and by 2021, I had joined PCA and other professional memberships, helping me grow my team and refine my business.
Outside of work, I’m a proud husband and father to three beautiful girls. My family means everything to me. I’m a big fan of the San Diego Padres and the Chargers — you’ll often find me cheering them on. I also have a soft spot for Mexican and Italian food, and I can’t resist a good scoop of ice cream.
Painting may not have been my first choice, but it’s become my passion. I’m grateful for the journey that led me here.
